Statistics show that while 50% of first marriages end in divorce, and 78% of second marriages end in divorce, less than 1% of couples who pray together daily end their marriages.

We know that prayer changes things. It is our first response, not our last resort.

  3. Pray for their work, business, hobbies & responsibilities.
  4. Pray that they will be obedient to the Lord.
  5. Pray Scripture over them (Prov. 3:5-6 is a great place to start!).
  6. Pray specifically for the current situations in your lives.
  7. Pray for the challenges they are facing.
  8. Pray for his/her fears.
  9. Pray he/she would have spiritual strength.
  10. Pray for God to give them wisdom and discernement.
  11. Pray for the Lord to give them daily direction. 
  12. Pray he/she would be fulfilled in the work he is doing.
  13. Pray for their spiritual walk.
  14. Pray for their decision-making.
  15. Pray for their role as a husband and father / wife and mother
  16. Pray for their relationships with others (family, in-laws, children, and coworkers)
  17. Pray for protection.
