small groups

Although we are practicing social distancing, it doesn’t meant we have to be socially isolated. It is so important to stay relational and spiritually connected! Our Small Groups are currently meeting online, and we’d love to help you join a group today.

We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us.

Whether you consider yourself a “people-person” or not, we all need each other. That’s why we have Small Groups, to find community that could potentially change our lives.

Just like most things, you won’t know until you try.  So follow these three steps, check out the directory listed below, and connect with a Small Group today!

Step 1 – Sign Up for Zoom (it’s free and easy) zoom.us/signup

Step 2 – Choose a Small Group day, time and type.

Step 3 – Click the link and join the group at it’s start time

Directory opens: August 30th

Small Group Semester Launches: September 6th

The Armor of God
women
Vanessa Bautista
All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you’re tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you. The Enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer’s inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory. Christina Garza
An invitation for every woman who feels she isn’t godly enough…isn’t loving enough…isn’t doing enough. The life of a woman today isn’t really all that different from that of Mary and Martha in the New Testament. Like Mary, you long to sit at the Lord’s feet…but the daily demands of busy world, just won’t leave you alone. Like Martha, you love Jesus and really want to serve Him, yet you struggle with weariness, resentment, and feelings of inadequacy”. Saturday, 3:00PM Join Small Group

lead a small group

Leading a small group isn’t about being perfect; it’s about serving others by giving them a place to connect. Leading a group is simple, choose a topic that interests you and select a time and location to meet with others to share it. We give you essential tools to make your small group successful through Leadership Orientation and a directory where you can register your group so others can find it easily. We believe people’s lives are changed one semester at a time by moving one step toward Christ, and as a small group leader you get to play an important role in that process.

SMALL GROUP LEADERSHIP TRAINING

Every 4th Sunday after next steps 401

Small group training is located adjacent to the Next Steps classroom in room 206.

Lunch and childcare is provided

If you can’t find the right group for you, maybe that’s God’s way of telling you that your next step in your spiritual journey is to lead a small group. Your small group isn’t about doing something new in your life, your life IS your small group. Whatever you are currently doing in life, just be intentional with your conversation and invite others to do it with you. Your group can be anything that you love to do! If you’ve never attended this short one and half hour training, join us as we answer all of your questions and equip you with all of the tools for you to lead a successful small group. Once you’ve attended any one of the trainings offered, you’re ready to lead a group for any up and coming semesters by simply registering your small group at the beginning of a new semester.
